I think it would be ok in a carry on. I'm sure they would look at it, but ultimately it is a harmless piece of technology and should be fine just in a carry one bag.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!

One more question before I buy. I'm kind of hesitant to send such a fragile piece of equipment so far, seems like it'll be passing through so many hands and increase the chances of something getting broken. I lease an apartment in Miami that I could ship to, my wife would be there to sign, I'd feel more comfortable sending it there and just bringing it home with me next time I'm in the states. Do you think I could put it in my carry-on or would you go with checked bag? I hate watching those guys throw your checked bags on & off the plane. I've tried to look it up online but it's difficult finding info. I'd appreciate any input.

thanks!

We can export the MK350 to you, that shouldn't be a problem at all. The 350 would be a great match for your rifle. Certainly give you the range to use with a .22, up to about 100 yards with this unit. It will also mount right up to the rail on top of your Sig.

Hi, thinking about purchasing a NV scope from you guys and have a couple of questions. I reviewed your export policy & it seems as if it's safe to export Gen 1 NV (ATN Aries MK 350 in particular) to the Bahamas, is that correct? After reading your links it seems as if ITAR applies to Gen 2 & above but I just want to make sure.

Also, due to where I live, a .22 calibre is the only rifle available. With this is mind, do you think this would be a good match for my Sig Sauer 522?

Thanks
