Bushnell 5x42 stealthview or Equinox 6x50

It's important to realize that all three NV devices you are considering are Generation 1 and the image results will be very similar. With Gen 1 devices, you will find a fair amount of artifacts (the black spots visible when viewing). It will really depend on the specific features you want and the physical characteristics you prefer. I tend to like the Yukon products, which very slightly edge out Bushnell in this category. Not too familiar with Equinox or how durable it may be. Either way, if you go with one of the bigger names, you can be reasonably comfortable with that fact that in the unlikely event you have a problem with the product, they will be willing to support it.

Hi there,
I am new to night vision and would like to purchase a set for watching deer in my fields. I am unsure which monocular would be best suited for for viewing deer at 100+ yards. Would I be able to make out detail on a deer at 100 yards? Which is best bang for my buck Bushnell Stealthview 5x42 or the Equinox 6x50 or the Yukon Ranger?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
