Leica for golf?

The [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/leica-brand.html]Leica[/link] CRF 1200 is my favorite laser [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/rangefinders1.html]rangefinder[/link] for hunting. It would be even better with true horizontal distance capabilities. The picture quality is shockingly good, even better than the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/swarovski-brand.html]Swarovski[/link].

But for Golf, I like the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell.html]Bushnell[/link] Pinseeker. It is the best on the market for golfing, in my opinion. The picture quality is not up to [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/leica-brand.html]Leica[/link] standards, but nothing is.

I'm in the market for a rangefinder, primarily for golf. The Leicas all seem to be universally beloved, but I'd like to know if they are suitable for near-field objects (pins, eg) instead of far.

If not [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/leica-brand.html]Leica[/link], any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm interested primarily in viewfinder brightness and performance in sub-optimal conditions (ie, haze); all of the units I've used seem to be accurate enough for me (older Callaway & Bushnells) but lack in the two areas I cited.
