Rangematic 1000 Instruction manual

I'm back with more annoying questions. I've been doing a little research on this old gal [where I found this forum] and now discover that my unit is incomplete.There is no cover on the ??range wheel??. To scribe a reference mark on the body to the left of the wheel is no biggy; but what impact would letting that yellow disc with the arrow on it "float around" have on the unit's performance? As much as I'd love to restore it to original [I bought it as a collectible/maybe use it] , I know there isn't a snowball's chance in Haiti of finding a replacement. If required I would have no problem fabricating a new one, but why if not required,right?

I also have the Rangematic 1000 range finder. Like many, mine came with no manual either. I would very much like to get a copy of the manual also if some one could e-mail it to me. I would like to start using this as the wife gave it to me years ago and I never got around to using it for lack of a manual. New to this forum also. I have a copy of the literature that came with this unit.

I will scan and send copies to those that request it.

I will title the email "Rangematic 1000 info" so that you know what to look for and not think it's spam and I will need your e-mail.
