The new Nikon 2-7x32 Blackout is the hot one to buy right now. Jump on the bandwagon soon if you want one before they're gone. But I'm not a bandwagon guy, and if it was mine I'd get more magnification and objective lens size. I would consider the Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x50 with the BDC reticle as nearly ideal. The Nikon Spot on Technology website will have any ballistic information you want for your reticle, at any magnification level and distance, for whatever ammo, subsonic or not, factory or handload. Extremely useful, and this website has steered me to Nikon products a lot in the last few years. For illuminated scopes, which I like a lot if the intensity goes down low enough, The 3.5-10x50 Leupold VX3 is superb. Get the Boone and Crockett reticle. You can use the Burris PEPR mount in one inch for the Nikon and 30mm for the Leupold. If you plan on removing the scope to install something else, consider the quick release feature. You can also install a mini red dot on top of the mount for close and personal shots. Even some of the less expensive MRDs are quite useable! Enjoy your neat gun and scope!

I got Model M&P15 - 300 Whisper. I need to get some recommendations for a scope and mount for it. It will be used to hunt deer and coyote as well as target shooting.
