That is a great set up for you. Badger manufactures an excellent product. If you had a 0 MOA base i would say the .886" height would be okay. However, at 45 MOA I have to recommend the 1.031. That scope and the base you picked out will be great for long range target shooting. The M1 turrets are 1/4 MOA click adjustment. If you want mil adjustments, go with the M5 turrets. They will be .1 mil click adjustment.

Hello all
II am new to long range shooting I a purchased a Remington 700 xcr tactical with 26" fluted barrel .308 and a leupold mark 4 6.5-20x50mm LR/T M1 scope. Heard good things on badger USMC Dmr 30mm rings with a badger 1 piece rail for Remington short action 45 Moa . Big question is what height for rings .886, 1.031 or , 1.125Sorry Appreciate any insight. Thank you . Any opinions on weapon and scope.thought i did a lot of research
