Hi,

There are far too many variables involved to give you a number on effective range of any heatseeker/gamefinder. Ambient temperature, wind, animal size, and especially, amount of cover between you and the animal will have a great impact on effective range. Performance will vary widely from day to day and even hour to hour. I recommend a heatseeker / gamefinder as a backup or an aide to finding game, but not as a primary means of finding game.

No gamefinder will ever be able to identify the type of target. If you need
that capability, you will need to move into a thermal imager Raytheon X100xp Thermal-Eye Camera.

Guold you please confirm that the above equipment will spot a live
animal( a hare, rabit or a padrige) and if yes within what range. Could
you also say whwther it will be possible to identify the type of the
animal spotted?
