What can you see with a telescope 100x, 200x

100x magnification, or 200x magnification will allow you to see most of what the sky has to offer. You will, of course, have to know a little about what you are looking for.

When viewing planets, you will not always see what is published in books. You will basically be looking for color differences to distinguish things like the Polar Ice Caps on Mars, or the rings of Saturn, but things like this should be visible through your scope.

Also, you should get excellent shots of the moon.
