Try the Celestron Ultima series, say the Ultima 65 for the sake of portability. The Bushnell Trophy is also a good choice for the money and also quite portable. Both will give you much greater range than a 7x50 binocular, yes.

Will a 200$ scope be more than my 7x50 binocular (which is excellent -Russian- quality, it was dragged around for 15 years and it is still all you need)?

Thanks,

Ors

Hello,

I need some advice with spotting scopes. I newer used one, only binoculars (7x50's).
My interest is wildlife viewing in woods and mountains, good light conditions and low light conditions. It should be resistant, waterproof, and portable (1 weak long backpack tours), good optics.... so all that it takes!
My budget is 200$ limited.

Thank you,

Ors
