Hi

Just remember to keep it small in terms of lens size on the camera and you'll be a lot happier. This translates to no more than 3x or 4x optical zoom on the camera. I also like image stabilization on a digiscoping camera, mostly because I handhold and don't use an adapter, but IS is also useful for other photo work. For the money, I just don't think you can beat one of the Canon Powershot A series in that price range. Take a look at the Canon A3300IS

Recently purchased a Theron Mag 82 spotting scope and I want to try my hand at digiscoping. What would be some good choices for a camera? Want a compact point and shoot and would like to stay under 200 dollars. Also will do double duty as a camera to carry when out riding my bicycle.
