Going to cheap on a
tripod is a big mistake. If you spend less than the
Bushnell 784030, you get a plastic head. To get the same thing with a quick-release plate, you need to move up to the
784040 or the excellent
Nikon 848. Do you want to put a scope on a
tripod with a plastic head? Not me, but that's your call.
For a good useable windowe mount, the
Nikon 7070 is a good choice.
For a universal digiscoping adapter, I like the
Alpen 706
