Hi

You should check with a health professional as to how much magnification you need for that task. Be advised, however, that all microscope objectives at 100x are oil immersion, whether it states it or not.

No, LOMO does not make a portable scope. For backpacking, go with a battery powered scope, such as the LED versions of the Unico M250series. ,

D do I need thousand power magnification and 100x oil immersion objective to screen sputum for TB or for TB bacteriology?

Will a 100x dry objective work as well as the oil immersion if the numeric arperture is the same for TB?

Does Lomo make a folded scope for portable use that would be suiitable for TB .

Accross all the brand lines what would you suggest for portable use for TB?
Thinking backpackable.
