Keep in mind that the camera has magnification of its own so it will be necessary to refocus.
Please let us know if you have further questions.
I am not sure what you mean by " camera must...refocus". The only lens in the optical
path is the microscope
objective, which must be focused as normal.
Note that I had confirmed via email before the sale that I just needed the SF-FA and a t-ring adaptor to photograph, as photography was a huge requirement for me.
Now, The t-ring adaptor that I have (Fotodix t2-eos) mounts to my camera fine, but it refuses to screw onto the sf-fa beyond approximately one turn.
Is it possible that the male threads on the sf-fa are coarser than the threads on the t-ring adaptor?
Also, please confirm that the adaptor that I need is NOT the M42 adaptor.
I think the best approach for me will be for you to point me to an Canon
EOS to SF-FA adaptor that you know works.
I have a call into extension 353 voice mail now, and I am waiting for a call back.
