We don't carry Nikon microscopes, so can't comment too much other than to say they are excellent. The features you need on any microscope, though, is a matter of your application. Optical quality on a microscope is the same as for any other optical instrument - the better the optics, the more detail you see at any given magnification and the higher the magnification you can use and still maintain image quality.

I have been looking for a Nikon miscroscope and am wondering about the Eclipse E200. I am currently using an XSP 30 misroscope but don't feel it is doing the job. I have used a Nikon and found small images easier to find. Is it that the Nikon has a better lens? What should I be looking for in a better microscope?
