You can use the Night Arrow on your New England Handy Rifle. All you will need is a picatinny or weaver rail to mount it on. With that unit you will have a maximum sight distance of 150-200 yards; more or less depending on the ambient lighting conditions. I would also recommend taking a look at the Night Optics Clip-On Night Vision Sight. You can attach this night vision unit to the objective of your daytime scope. It effectively turns your day scope into a night vision scope. This way you will not have to remove your optics and re-zero. It saves time, and money on ammunition!

Need advice on gun and scope choice

I want to set up a dedicated gun for nightime coyote hunting and I only have two rifles that may be good for this. One is a Remington 700 in 22/250 and the other is a single shot New England Handy Rifle in 204 (gun breaks open like a shotgun)The scope I've been looking at is an ATN Night Arrow 6-CGT and all I know about night vision is what I've read on the internet and a few that Uncle Sam let me borrow a long time ago. I would prefer to keep my 22/250 for daytime use but I'm not locked in on anything.Would the Handy Rifle and this scope be a good choice or do I need another gun or scope entirely. I would appreciate any advice that you can give. thanks
