The ATN MO-4 is a first gen unit with 3x magnification and may fit the bill for your monocular request. Going to a gen two unit increases the price several times, and there aren't many gen two units available. You generally have to go to a gen III unit starting a over two grand. Another option is the Yukon Digital Ranger, one of my favorites. It's a bit larger than most monoculars, but its white picture is extremely clear, with resolution rivalling any gen two on the market. It does eat batteries, though. It also has video out capabilities, and comes with a charger for use with rechargable batteries.

For the riflescope, take a look at the ATN PS22 versions of scopes that attach to the front of a magnified scope. They work best with your riflescope set at under 10x magnification. Simply attach with optional connector to the objective lens of your scope, or if on a black gun with a full rail, simply attach to the rail. Great products, and it means that you don't have to have a dedicated gun with night vision, nor do you have to swap sights. Sight in with your daytime scope and you are still sighted in close with the PS-22 attached.

Recommendation for NV Minoc/binoc AND Rifle scope

Looking to acquire hand held NV minoc/binoc in the $1000.00 +/- range for good clear identification of species in various light conditions from dark to moonlight at ranges generally under 100+/- yard--your recommendations?

Second, looking for a real good image quality NV rifle scope (prob gen 2 or 3) to put on a 300 win mag bolt rifle to be used in all night light conditions and from say 40 yards to 200+/- yards--I am open to price ranges--want something I can use across the board for various short and long range varmint and animal control situations--multiple suggestions are ok.

Thanks
