If all you're looking for is line of sight distance, you can use the Bushnell Sport 450 Laser Rangefinder. If you want a model that will compensate for incline/decline shots (Angle Compensation) check out the Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC.

I need to purchase a range finder the cheaper the better but I don't want junk. Only to bow hunt in IL
