I'm looking for a
rangefinder to bring with me to Afghanistan.
I'll use it to call indirect fires as well as quickly find distances to key terrain, so it doesn't need to be able to target any specific target such as a deer or a tree, but rather a general area.
It needs to be water proof binos 8x30 to 10x40, with a range of 2km or greater (most range measurements give effective ranges to an object like a flag, tree, or deer, but as I wrote above, I need to be able to target a general area rather than a specific object so I'm not sure how accurate the ranges listed under the various rangefinders' specs are for my purposes), with a mil-dot reticle, and be battery powered.
Thank you for your advice and help.
