bushnell pro scout vs. pro tour

I believe Joanie K.'s answer to question about the difference between the Scout and Tour Model. was a little misleading. It's true that Bushnell makes a couple of Models that have the 'Pinseeker' function that in fact picks the flag out from the background as she states. But the Yardage Pro Tour does not have this option. It is only available in the higher priced models. Therefore except for the color and the fact that the tour does not have a battery low indicator the scout and the tour are identical.

A golf laser rangefinder has software designed to seek the nearest target first, namely the flag.

A fiield model has software designed to seek the most distant target first and ignore intervening brush or other objects (such as the flag). Yes, you can use a field model for golf, but it may take several attempts to get a reading on the flag.

It seems the Bushnell Yardage Pro Tour (golf model) is identical to the Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout. Is there a difference in the software? I intend to use one for golf.
