Greetings.
I am looking for a scope for my brand new air rifle Weirauch HW30s, which is a fairly accurate springer.
I intent to shoot at relatively close distance, 10-15 feet, very small objects (read, lizards).
No hunting of big/small animals really unless it is a gopher, or a rat!
And of course target practice to say 100 feet.
Can somebody please suggest me a good scope for close distance. I have looked at some 1-4x20 or 1-4x24 scopes.
They look good, but are mostly for either military purpose, or African jungles?
Have also looked at 3-7x32 or 3-7x35 scopes.
I would not like a bazooka like scope please. Money is not the primary consideration, as I know I get what I pay.
But sometimes we go in the wrong direction, and pay too much anyways, and I am trying to avoid that. Weight is a
consideration.
Is something like a Burris 1-4x24 a good option. I like the idea of a red dot. Any other candidate: a Nikon or a Millett DMS or Leupold?
BTW, my rifle has iron sights, but I would prefer something better, though I can shoot well with iron sights too :-)
