Vials feature a 40% larger opening than standard vials and a uniformly flat bottom for security with inserts. Made from Type I, Class A borosilicate glass. Target I-D* vials have a ceramic write-on ID patch with graduations at 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5mL. Silanized vials help to limit protein adsorption.

Inserts are designed for wide-opening 2mL vials. Conical-style Polyspring* inserts are available in borosilicate glass or polypropylene. Flat-bottom MicroSerts* inserts are made from borosilicate glass. Convenience kits include vials and caps with pre-inserted septa. Preassembled kits have vials with preattached caps and septa. Certified vial kits are tested and certified to meet or exceed up to 17 critical performance parameters; certificate enclosed with kit.
