Balance attributes include GLP protocol, enhanced parts counting (sample optimization, user-definable sample size, count check mode, and fill mode), animal weighing, check weighing, percent functions, filling, and gross/net/tare weighing. One-function keys with tactile feedback allow for easy navigation through the menu. Weighing units include g, mg, kg, lbs, oz, oz t, ct, dwt, taels (3), mommes, gn, ti, N, and a custom unit. Backlit high-resolution dot matrix display for easy viewing. Standard features include stainless steel pan, user-selectable stability levels, user-selectable filters, stability indicator, auto-zero tracking, weigh-below capability, menu and calibration lock-out switch, factory reset option, and in-use cover. Customizable display unit features selection of two weighing units, on-screen mode set-up, selectable data fields to display, selectable time and date format, and contrast and brightness controls. Operating languages available: English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Two large tare keys allow convenient right- or left-hand operation. Tare range: full capacity by subtraction. Outputs: RS-232 bi-directional interface and a remote/auxiliary port. Leveling system consists of an up-front leveling bubble and two adjustable feet. Contoured for easy cleaning.

All models available with external or internal calibration. With AutoCal* internal calibration, the balance senses ambient temperature changes and automatically calibrates. Operating temperature range is 10 to 40°C (50 to 104°F) for internal calibration or 10 to 30°C (50 to 86°F) for external calibration.
