• The IQZoom 170SL is one of the most compact and lightweight camera models in the 170mm compact zoom category measuring just 4.4" wide, 2.4" high and 1.9" thick and weighing a mere 7.1 ounces
• The IQZoom 170SL's extraordinary 38mm~170mm zoom lens combines an extra-wide 4.5 times zoom ratio with an amazing 170mm telephoto range.
• The passive five-point autofocus system produces images that are eyelash sharp, even in shots that may "fool" other cameras, like those taken through window glass or an off center subject.
• Assisted by the sophisticated multi-pattern metering system, the IQZoom 170SL's auto-exposure system automatically produces beautifully exposed images frame after frame - even when the subject stands against backlight or in the shade.
• The "Actual Image" viewfinder shows the image size in relation to the zoom ratio, providing a concise preview of the finished photo. The adjustable diopter allows the user to match the viewfinder image to his/her eyesight.
• Built-in fully automatic flash with several modes to choose from: flash-on, flash-off (museum mode), slow shutter sync (sunset mode), bulb sync with or without flash for special effects, and bulb (evening mode) for great pictures in any lighting condition.
• To ensure that all your subjects look beautiful and clear-eyed, the IQZoom 170SL offers a red-eye reduction mode which reduces the red-eye effect that may appear in your subjects eyes with flash use.
• The large LCD panel provides the user with a full range of information on the camera's operation status at a quick glance, thus facilitating quick, effortless operation. It is automatically illuminated in the dark to make data reading easier.
• Auto load, advance, and rewind for fail-safe handling of film.
• Automatic backlight compensation fires the flash during backlight conditions to properly expose the subject.
• The user can switch the picture format from standard to panorama at any frame (even mid-roll) with a simple turn of the panorama lever. The panorama format produces dramatic eye catching images ideal for landscapes and group photos.
• The self-timer mode allows you time to get into the picture. It releases the shutter ten seconds after pressing. The optional remote control provides even more control, releasing the shutter with a three-second delay.
• The date version of the IQZoom 170SL lets you imprint the date or day and time on your photographs when selected. There are five different settings from which to choose, including a blank setting.
• When the camera is left unused for three minutes with the power on, the IQZoom 170SL retracts the lens to the wide-angle position to protect it from damage and shuts off the power - all automatically.
