Product Category Description:

Circulating bath is specifically designed for coliform testing, including determination at 44.5°C as specified by APHA, AWWA, WEF, and EPA, using either the membrane filter or MPM method. The bath may be used for E. coli determination at 45.5°C as specified by the AOAC*. Bath meets the requirement for the APHA, AWWA, and WEF seven-hour fecal coliform tests at 45.5°C and for the DST* (Defined Substrate Technology) tests for E. coli and total coliforms at 35°C.

Three programmable preset temperature buttons allow quick transition between common coliform test temperatures. Bath temperature is displayed on a LED display and may be viewed in °C or °F, in increments of 0.1°. The bath features an adjustable overtemperature cutoff and a low-liquid cutoff.

Bath is equipped with a tilting, transparent polycarbonate cover that drains fluid back into the bath when opened. The integral two-speed simplex pump is switchable between 9L/min. and 15L/min. (2.4gal./min. and 4gal./min.). Pump can be used to circulate bath fluid to other instruments, such as refractometers or spectrophotometers, using a closed-loop configuration.

All wetted components are constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The outer case is protected with a durable, easy-to-clean epoxy powder coating.
