The top detailing of the camera case uses a special Neoprene gasket for the light post and hook and loop fastener to allow the optional camera strap (HB-40SS CAM-C, sold separately) to emerge without compromise. PortaBrace equips this camcorder rain cover with multiple zipper slides that can position the camera on or off the tripod with superb closure. An extra pad for shoulder comfort is built into the PortaBrace Storm-Coat Camera Cover. The fabric is a robust lamination of two types of waterproofing and two types of fabric with extra material covering important access points and openings. A neoprene gasket seals around popular square lens shades and matte boxes, making the camera cover virtually water-tight.
