Gen. 2 Recon2 PVS7 Night Vision Goggles as the rest of the LOMO optical products line have exceptional performance, superior quality, and comfortable, but rugged design - characteristics that are so important for a night vision devices. The included head-mount allows the goggles to be worn in the optimum position for comfortable wearing while viewing, and features a very easy to use quick release mount, so the goggles can be mounted/dismounted with one hand. The model allows you to see contrasting objects through the night (1/4 moon) up to 400 meters distance. Actually, this is one of the most high-powered Generation 2+, brought-to-perfection Scopes for Night Vision.
There is a head mounting mask to utilise in a hands free enviroment and an infrared illuminator for use in total darkness or when extra light is required.
The Recon 2 uses a single image intensified image that is split between the two eyepieces. The view is not a binocular view but a dual monocular view.
