This WideShot Bundle includes a 12ft x 7ft curtain, small green LiteRing, control box and power supply. The chroma key process requires that the background is evenly lit to produce a flat consistent color. The narrower the width of color the easier it is to remove in the keying process. Rather than the color being in the background the Chromatte fabric is gray to the eye in ambient light. The Chromatte fabric contains thousands of tiny aluminum coated glass beads that reflect light back to its source. The green or blue light required to chroma key is provided by a camera-mounted ring of LED's, the LiteRing. The low (10 watt) light emitted from the LiteRing is bounced back off the Chromatte fabric straight into the camera lens. The camera therefore sees the background as an even colored blue or green backdrop.

Effectively we have removed the color from the fabric and the light required to illuminate it - and placed them both in the LiteRing. By generating the color in this way it is both more consistent and easier to set-up.

• Space: no need to light the background and therefore can be used in confined spaces and non-studio environments.
• Time: you don't have to spend hours position the lights correctly to light the background and dealing with issues such as shadows.

• Ease: the light emitted from the LiteRing remains the same color temperature throughout its intensity therefore it is easy to remove during the keying process. This also means that low budget software keying tools work extremely well with this product.
