Pros: compact, durable and easy to handle
Cons: not as clear as Nikon/Callaway rangefinders, no pinseeker/first target technology
Would recommend: no

I have used this product for several golf seasons and will soon purchase another. Although it is great for measuring to large targets like the tops of bunkers, mounds and trees, it is not good for the critical measurement to the flag stick. It is frustratingly difficult to get a reading on a flag unless the wind is blowing so the flag out so it is a larger target. If it is hanging limp, you had better keep up with the players in front of you so you can get a reading on the guy tending the flag, or you will have to measure to the ground for an estimate. But if the green surface is elevated slightly, the area around the hole cannot be seen so you have no good target to measure too. For the same price, buy a rangefinder with either pinseeker or first target priority technology which will display the distance to the flag even if you get readings from the more distant background. I also own the Sonocaddie gps which has free downloads but have found the mappings to be inaccurate by as much as ...

The Yardage Pro Tour is pretty much all it's cracked up to be. I've been extremely satisfied with it's performance, and it has really helped my game and made me a more confident player. Price is just right too. Nice and small so it travels very easily on the course. I would definitely recommend it to any golfer who wants to improve their game and get an edge.
You will love this product!

Pros: How many yards to clear that fairway bunker??
Cons: Your whole foursome will rely on you to tell them the answer.
Would recommend: yes

There are certain holes on every course that knowing the exact distance is crucial to avoiding disaster. The distances on off fairway shots to the green are just a guess unless you have a rangefinder. This one is Great because it is so small and unobtrusive, and very quick to use, it takes seconds! It definitely saves strokes and adds confidence.
(note: now my sad story. my wife bought this for my birthday and after 8 months of joyfull use, it bounced out of the semi-opened pocket in my golf bag. Inspite of a reward offerd by me, no one turned it in, my loss their gain. Could you consider any
additional help with the purchase of another? Anxiouly waiting to hear,
Thanks, Dave Busch, davebtempe@yahoo.com

Pros: Small and Easy to Operate
Cons: Difficult to lock on flag without wind helping
Would recommend: yes

Overall, this is an OK product. Accuracy is very good if target can be locked on. Needs wind to flow the flag for easy target lock on. The small size is also very good for carrying around.

The Pro Tour arrived safely and was very simple to set up. On the course it is excellent for distances from the flag circa 50 yards to 150 yards. However it has to be said that over the 150 yard distance it required 2 to 3 applications to get the required yardage. I however use the unit for my business and have used a reflector on the flag to ensure maximum accuarcy. Once the reflector was available the need to enter for a yardage 2 to 3 times did not happen, it picked up the yardages first time.
All in all very pleased with the Pro Tour Rangefinder it does everything it is meant to do.
