Bought these pants for an Ireland geology field trip, 8 days in October. Wore 'em everyday. It rained, hailed, and stayed about 40 degrees the whole time. I stayed completely dry (cant say the same for my $300 rain jacket - it got soaked inside and out), completely warm (but never too hot), and extremely comfortable. Like I said, I wore 'em everyday. Plenty of pocket space for Euros, Passport, camera, geology tools and notebook. Highly recommended.
