Most Helpful Positive Review Quality Bag
I had already purchased the 5.11 Rush 24 so I was confident in the overall quality and usefulness. First of all, I'm not working in the police forces ...

Great Bag, durable and sturdy.

by NorthWestDork, from United States, WA Written on April 19, 2015
Great bag, everything is sewn well, made durable and sturdy. I only didnt give it 5 stars because the sternum strap cannot be moved. It's sewn into place on the straps, so it may not position well for those with larger chests (men or women)....

Rush 24 - bigger than expected - amazing quality

by cdn guy, from Canada, BC Written on March 17, 2015
I bought the Rush 24 to be used for camping, hiking and when I pack the kids, and all their stuff, around.

The quality is first rate, truly I've never had a better pack. It has ample pockets, dividers and organizers. I love the layout. I found it a bit big for general duty but recognized the usefulness of a large pack. This will last me for many years. So, I bought a Rush 12 for daily wear. Now I have the best of both worlds; I have my big camping and hiking pack and my commuting backpack.

I have personalized mine with a sunglasses case on one side molle webbing and a bottle pouch on the other. I also have my camelback bladders installed in each bag. Perfect fit.

I love these packs....

Excellent Pack

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, CA Written on May 31, 2014
The hydration pocket holds a CamelBak 100 oz. SHORT reservoir perfectly. However, the zippers on that pocket seem 'backward' in that they unzip from one direction only, rather than from the top, both directions like the cargo pocket. This means only one pull is usable and must be zipped over the top to meet the other one. Minor goof, probably to avoid having the fobs tickle your neck while walking. A simple waste band should be included.
Pros: durable, well made, roomy
Cons: None so far...

Best Day Pack Ever

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, CA Written on December 16, 2013
I have had this backpack for almost 2 years now and it is showing no signs of wear what so ever. I use it every day at college to carry my books and computer. On the weekends I empty it out and use it as a day back for hunting or long range shooting. It the perfectly sized to get you ammo, range finder, binoculars, jacket, food and what ever else you need to have a successful day in the field. The zippers, handle, and everything about the pack is rugged and well built, and very comfortable to wear all day in the mountains even with a heavy load. The pack has a hard plastic back to it so none of your gear will distort the shape of it or bother your back. This is the best backpack I have ever used.
Pros: Durable
Cons: none...

Stunning piece of bag

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on June 5, 2013
We have tested this unit during the last hiking holidays and our expectations were fully met. The zippers are a dream, the many pockets and dividers are helpful in organizing your stuff and even with lots of load in it the bag is comfortably to carry.

The material seems sturdy enough for most duties and the overall workmanship satifies.

The only thing missing is a waist belt which might be an issue for some - not for us, though...!

For the price an unbeatable piece of equipment and highly recommended. I have ordered a second one.
Pros: Versatile and sturdy
Cons: Missing waist belt...

Good pack from small guys

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on December 2, 2012
This is great pack for hiking or small excursions. The pack fits well on small frame guys with the yolk system distributing the weight and the lower of the pack sits nicely in the small of your back. Its great with the large compartments and a few small compartments that aren't overwhelming like other bags that try and organize your stuff for you. the width is small enough to add other pouches to the sides and not have it be too unwieldy. Overall good pack, very durable and very comfortable to where. The only downsides which isn't too big a of a downside is there isn't a dedicated space or sleeve for a laptop, but the rear camelback holder can be used if your laptop is small enough or just lay it on top of your stuff in the main compartment.
Pros: comfortable, fits well
Cons: no dedicated laptop pouch...

Great small pack

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on September 4, 2012
This is a great pack for the price. Its got basic pockets for little odds and ends and is extremely durable. The back pouch for a bladder is great and the board on the back adds to support and contours your back, actually makes it pretty comfortable. I'm a small guy with Sway-back and this pack fits me perfectly. Having hiked/gone to school for years I've worn alot of backpacks, the yoke system on this thing is awesome and I really wish they would have had this when I was in school.
Pros: durable, comfortable, affordable...
