Pros:  Zipper, look good, comfortable out of the box
Cons:  Not waterproof, scuff easily

I bought these boots because I work construction and wear boots every day. I also ride a motorcycle and need solid footwear for protection. I've been wearing them for about three months now, and am happy with them. I ordered them online, and received them about 3 days later. They came with laces, and setup took about 10 minutes. Once laced and tied, the zipper makes them easy to get on and off. The zipper is covered by a velcro tab when zipped up, which keeps the zipper secured, nice touch. Once I had them set up, I felt comfortable in them almost immediately. I have had to break in boots in the past, and these fit well right from the start. Thus far, they've held up well, aside from some minor scuffs and small cuts around the toe. I was disappointed to find that they are not waterproof as claimed by the manufacturer, and would have gotten the cheaper 12001 if I had known. The only other problem I have had is that the laces sometimes come untied, but that may be because I wear my jeans over them instead of tucked in. Altogether a decent pair of boots, especially for the money.
