Working in retail, dealing wth all weather, rain hail or shine (thankfully I dnt have to deal with snow!) and customers spilling liquid good grip is essential, and the 5.11 provide this. I actually tested the grip on a slippery surface (recently sprayed soapy floor) and once planted I couldnt even get the boots to slide... Overall, even if your not a SAWT guy, LEO or the like these boots are well worth the $$. Comfort, Quality and Looks make this a good all rounder and a good work boot.
