Pros: Lightweight, Good pocket designs
Cons: Crotch is too low
Would recommend: yes

Pants would be 5 for 5, but the pants appear to be designed to accomodate someone with a 36" inseam and simply 'cut to length' as needed to fill an order. This causes the crotch of the pants to hang at mid-thigh for somone with a shorter inseam. Other than that, nicely designed to accomodate web gear and other 'carry-ons'.

Very comfortable and work well for the shooting range. Lots of pocket space for tactical accessories, extra mags, flashlights, etc. Durable construction and quality workmanship.

Pros: Sturdy, do not fad after washing
Cons: Pockets not as useful as competitors
Would recommend: yes

Not a bad pair of pants, used them for several days at a rifle training course held up with no complaints. These were my first pair, but after side by side compairson prefer the Blawkhawk, they seem to have a little more room in the croch and they pocket layout seems little better to me. If you like 5.11 products you will like these pants.

This is my first pair of 5.11 Tactical pants. I am impressed! They are comfortable, plenty of pockets, loops for keys and extremely durable! They do run a little on the large size. I wear a 32" waist and can button them without any stretch in the elastic sides. That gives me a little room in case I want to tuck in a shirt. Can't wait to try them for this season's big game hunt!
Pleasantly Surprised

Fit runs true so don't buy bigger than what you normally wear. Excellent fall and winter weight. Will try the taclite next.

I bought these for range pants. These pants run large and long, so be careful when ordering and I would suggest to maybe order these the next smallest size to what you would normally order. They are good quality and seem to be very durable and well constructed. They don't breathe very well which is good in cooler climates as the wind doesn't seem to blow right through them. Hot weather is bad news due to that feature as obviously material that doesn't allow air flow makes you hot. Be prepared to ship them back if they don't fit because washing in hot water with hopes of shrinking them didnt work for me. I like them a little baggy due to the mobility factor when shooting IDPA or other such events.
