I bought a pair of 8" 5.11 Speed boots a few weeks ago. They were so comfortable that I bought a 6" pair a week later to wear as everyday shoes. I am not LE or military but do need black shoes for work. Everytime I put them on I smile because they are so comfortable and can be worn all day. Your feet never feel tired or hurt. I love these boots and will be buying many more pairs of 5.11 items. Everything they make is top notch. Buy some and you will see what I mean.
