This light is impressive! The switching pattern is easy to get used to... push at any time and you get a blinding beam. The 'low' well-focused beam is more than enough to illuminate the inside of a car during a traffic stop. The high beam rivals my conventional rechargeable lights. It's rugged... got dropped the first night out didn't even scratch it. It looks likes it's definitely worth the money. I only wish that the light came with a traffic directing cone and and option for 120 volt charging
