The flip up covers are nice to get with it but the kill flash is not as great since you can see the honeycomb while looking through it which is bad. I would reccomend this sight any day!

I have had Aimpoint red dot sights before and every one of them were excellent. This particular CompML3 had problems though. It has a rotating "on" knob that has multiple red dot intensity settings. On this particular unit the red dot was not useable visible dot until the intensity knob was turned to setting 4. Then as one approached the top two intensity settings the red dot developed a SEVERE flare. I do believe that this issue is probably limited to this particular item and not the CompML3 series as a whole. I returned the sight for a replacement.
