I am currently deployed in Iraq and ordered this laser for escalation of force tool. It works beyond my expectations. The dot is very easy to see in the day light and at night it is unbelieveable. Laser seems pretty durable but the pressure switch is taking a beating. It is made out of a soft rubber and tears easy. Also the adjustment screws dont have a stop and will back all the way out.

With this laser, you can burn a hole in the moon!!! Truly a daylight use laser. The 100 yds. visability in daylight claim is for real, and then some. Night distance is incredible - at least a mile. This is one very bright laser! Makes the 5mw red lasers look like a kids toy. No more need for ammo as the laser alone should bring any creature to the ground! Bad News is sight in requires that 4 allen set screws need to be manipulated and it gets pretty tricky to fine tune. A very crude system. Be nice if there was an adjustment system similiar to optical scopes, especially given the price tag.

Seems to be sturdily made. I haven't put it to the test in rough terrain or usage yet. Very bright and focused beam.
