Pros:  Expands mounting options and configurations
Cons:  Does not fit Mossberg 500 SPX without modification

Very well designed addition to the Mossberg 500. If you have an SPX model this mount will requires some dremeling of the front to fit around the triangle post on the muzzle. Does add some weight, however provides ample space for mounting accessories. This mounts very securly to the weapon at three points, one on the muzzel and two at the grip and trigger assembly and creates a solid foundations for reflex/red dot sight, or anything else. Has picatinny railing running the length of the topside and two pictinny mounts on the left and right sides at the muzzle end.

Pros:  Fills exactly the needs I purchased it for. Looks great, fits great and does exactly what I need!
Cons:  Even with the great price here (Best on the net that I could find) I still think it is a bit too spendy.
Would recommend:  yes
