Best Fast Acquisition Rear Sight for Glock

by Bob the Bear, from United States, TX Written on September 9, 2014
I purchased the GL-405PRA rear sight which is very similar to the GL-405L. The GL-405L is serrated on the back and has a square notch vice plain black and U notch on the GL-405PRA. Both are the same height as stock. Both have wider notch of .180 vice the stock .140 which equates to faster sight acquisition. These sights are a great value, steel construction, and a vast improvement over stock. I use the Ameriglo GL-212-OR ProGlo front sight. This is a great combination....
Pros:
  • value
  • Design
  • Wider Notch
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • concealed carry
  • Home Defense

GL 406 L

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, VA Written on May 16, 2013
Started off with Warren Rears and tritium front and switched to Ameriglo Square Orange Front and the 406 L for the G 19. Awesome combo, for me much better than the Warren. Ameriglo much simpler, quicker, and I am more accurate. Would not hesitate to buy again.
Pros: Great simple and quick. Accurate
Cons: NONE...

It Works...Nuff Said!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on February 22, 2013
The GL-405L rear sights are simple to install, rugged and relible, just like the Glock I put it on. Anything else is personal preference or window dressing.
Pros: Good steel with a wide window.
Cons: None yet and I don't expect any....
