Actually, speaking about Gen 3 and Gen 2 difference in price its rather a gap as Gen3 cost is really impressive but I chose Armasight CO-LR-3 Alpha Gen 3 scope as I had tested a lot of Gen3 units before and know exactly that they are worth the money. First I used the armasight clip on within pretty dense fog condition and the image was quite good. Under fine weather the picture is just fantastic- all outlines and traits are converted into night vision very distinctly, the target is focused and captured quickly and you will hit the object in the shortest burst of shots possible. Besides, the CO-LR-3 is a very compact one. High-class long range clip-on, thanks to Armasight guys.
