Most of the free time I spend with my family going for an overnight tent camping, or I go boating and at times even hunting with my friends. Usual flashlight is fine, of course, but pretty often thats not enough even for a casual user. Im using night vision devices for quite a while already, but still consider myself to be an amateur. Basically because I dont use high-tech optics and I dont need the device to have those characteristics, which a professional user will demand. From my perspective the device must be cost-effective: lightweight, compact, weather resistant, have a good quality of lenses, still it shouldnt be extremely expensive for the money you pay when you buy this device you get all of these features. Besides, it has a built-in IR illuminator and the automatic brightness control. Thats more than enough for a device of the kind, so I would definitely recommend it....
