I bought my atn digital ultra sight a couple of years ago and still love it. I mounted it on a ruger mini14 and it took me six rounds to zero it. Two three round groups and it has held the zero for over 3000 rounds now. I love it and plan to buy another one for a different rifle. Cannot beat the price for the product.

I build AR15's and custom firearms I also work for Guns and Ammo. I bought this sight about 2 years ago and I mounted it on a custom built Beretta CX-4 carbine chambered in 40s&w. Over all for the money it works great! A lot of people bad mouth this sight in the reviews, and some of their complaints have some vague truth.. When I first received the sight I changed the battery right away, which I knew would solve any of the problems people keep complaining about with it shutting off or changing reticules.. So with that quick fix, problem solved! Never an issue! It does get a glare when facing bright light, but that is sometimes typical with these "c'more style" red dot sights.. But with the ATN bright light protectors, problem solved once again! The best thing about the sight is that I have not changed the battery's since I first purchased the sight 2 years ago! That is what I really like about the sight! I also love the very fine 2 MOA dot, it works great on shooting small targets and game.. ...

You know how i test the durability of any optic I purchase? I give it to my 2 year old son for about a week. No joke. Anyhow this optic is outstanding. With a military backround and using optics like the EoTech and the Aimpoint I was suprised to see how well this optic performed in comparison for half the price. It has 5 crisp reticle patterns with 11 intensity settings and an awesome 33mm exit pupil( size of the glass). This optic surpasses its competetors in the price range and even surpasses some above it, i.e the cmore series of products(which i own and am pleased with). I wont go as far to say that its an Eotech or trijicon but it stands its ground and handles even the roughest abuse for a budget optic. Weighing in for around 175.00 you get every bang for your buck. This optic is well suited for Home Defense/moderate tactical use(I wouldnt go assault climbing or diving with it). It can handle quite the down pour and operates fine in freezing conditions, which most optics in this price ...

I got it out the box and the battery casing was defective. When I screwed the cap on the light would flash off and on and you had to position the cap by the millimeter to get it to turn on. *Defective* and also the sight picture was crooked which there is no way to fix. Also there was a weird glare from the red dot. I wasn't impressed at all for the amount I paid. Called immediately to return. I would be wise and spend your money on something else.

I reviewed an ATN digital ultra sight that was a piece of junk. An acquaintance of mine bought this sight so I decided to check it out to see if I just got a lemon. Well, this sight was not any better than the ultra sight. In fact, it was worse.
We went out with 2 AR-15's and a Ruger .22 pistol. We put the sight on the .22 and it briefly did OK. After about 30 shots the sight started shutting down with almost every shot. When it did not shut down it randomly changed the reticle. I tried adjusting the battery springs as ATN advised me to do on my ultra sight but that did not help(just like on the ultra sight). We switched to the AR and the sight shut down with every shot or pull of the charging handle. Also, on the AR, the sight could not hold zero for more than 10-15 shots.
I told my friend good luck with ATN customer service. I sent my first sight in for repair and was told it would be a 2 week turn around. After many frustrating phone calls and broken promises they had it for 10 ...

It really it a nice red dot sight... I would have given it a 5 rating for overall, but you need to order the bright light filter, as my filter is on the way and I believe that will make it a 5 all the way. I buy a lot of optics from Opticsplanet and I have been very happy with their prices and service.

I just left a poor review on this sight and found out that I was too quick on the draw. I decided to contact the fine folks at ATN to discuss this totally irritating problem with this sight. I had tried everything myself, a new battery, changing the torque on the mounts, as well as the torque on the battery case cap. Nothing worked. Each time I fired the rifle, the reticle would change to it's default setting. Once at the default setting it would stay there all day. It was always accurate regardless of what setting I had it set to or what it landed on! After I spoke with the technicians at ATN, they informed me that my problem was the spring located in the battery cap. They said that the length of that spring or the pressure it applied to the battery was insufficient. They instructed me to grab the spring and pull it to extend its length/tension on the battery itself. Once I did that, the sight has worked perfectly. I should've waited to hear from their support techs before posting a negative ...
