I have had this light on my Ruger SR 556 since day one. By now I have put at least 1000 rounds through it and the light still function perfectly. If you are looking for a weapon mounted light it is perfect for the price range. Just be cautious, it does not come with a push button and it is permanently mounted to the mounting bracket... it was designed to be used with a weapon and not to be used as a traditional flashlight. Overall great product for what it is.

Excellent tac light, well made, super bright, good batt life. Only came with a pressure switch, it would have been nice to come with a regular switch on the light too.

I mounted the light on my Stag 5.56mm AR-15. After 20 rounds, the light no longer worked. The bulb burned out due to recoil. Stay away from this light, it is junk!

Pros: Rugged construction and by far the brightest flashlight I've ever seen.
Cons: Cannot be handheld and can only turn on with pressure switch
Would recommend: yes
MandoCalrissian wrote:
If you're going to use this on a gun only, then this is likely the flashlight for you. It's very rugged and can likely take quite a bit of punishment. The light output is also just unbelievable, making the act of blinding people with it somewhat of a joy. However, while this is a great flashlight, the picatinny rail mounts do not remove from the flashlight itself, so it's very impractical for actual carry. Also, the only way to turn it on is through the pressure switch, making it even more difficult for use outside of gun-mounted. If you're looking for a weapon-mounted light, look no farther, but don't expect to be able to use it comfortably outside of the mount.
