Great piece gear, does not adapt to standard mounts.

I had been wanting a 3rd gen NVG for years. I got the money and ordered one. When it came I was impressed with how well it worked. I wanted to mount it on a helmet and use it for coyote hunting. You can't use the military mounts with it. You have to use the ATN mounts and they aren't cheap. So now I haven't been able to mount it. I contacted customer service and got an email the next day. It didn't help so I called Alex and left him a msg. He's never called back. It looks like I'll be forced to either make a mount or by the on ATN sells....

WPT is awesome over gen2/3. Never tried gen 4 but there seems to be something inherently better with seeing things in B&W versus green. The only thing that I think could make it better is if it wasn't as sensitive as all NVG are susceptible to and that is light.

Also, i wish the scope did not have a built-in IR illuminator as this has repercussions here in CA regarding sniper scopes. The issue is not as a stand alone but in combination with other configurations.
Pros: B&W beats green, compact, resolution and contrast
Cons: Wish it were cheaper but still great value...
