Overall, this is an average scope if you use it up to 9x magnification. Once you go higher, the optic becomes almost unusable....blurry, dark, and very difficult to use. That said, the adjustable objective is a nice feature. I have this mounted on a bolt-action Ruger 77/22 and so far it's held up fine (as would be expected with a 22). If I were do do it again, I'd save up and buy something more expensive with better optics.
