I put this scope on a stainless-steel Marlin Model 60 on a synthetic stock. Having owned a number of these rifles over the years, I can say that this is a major improvement over the original 4X Marlin scope that was an option on many of these (especially if your eyeballs are not so young as they used to be)! This scope comes with all the neccessary parts and pieces, is quick and simple to install, and is easy to get dialed in. I would recommend it for any rimfire rifle. I may buy another one for one of my other .22's!
