I was not to sure about what I was goint to get with this scope. When it came I took the Leopold 6-18x vary x2 off my AR-15 and set the 2 side buy side. The only thing I could see was the Leopold had about 4 inches more field of view at 100 yds when the 2 were set at 18x. As far as the glass quality I could not see any difference. As far as the features The barsaka wins hands down.It produced the same groups on my heavy barreled DPMS AR-15 as the Leopold did. As far as the price it again beats the Leopold. A MUST HAVE!.Thanks Barsaka for a great product. Mark.

I was looking for a decent scope to put onto an AR-15 Varminter. I currently have a Springfield Gen 3 Gov't and a Super Sniper on other rifles. I intended on buying another Super Sniper, but ran into a review of this scope. I bought it based on all the positive reviews. After receiving it, I noticed something wierd. A HUGE tube shadow when looking at the sight picture. Also, the eye relief was unusually long and I couldn't group any better than 7" @ 50yds. After screwing around with customer service for over 30 days, they finally agreed to replace it. They DID waive the $20 inspection/shipping fee, so Kudos to them. Special thanks to Aaron @ Barska Customer Service. After receiving the new scope, I inspected it again. The HUGE tube shadow is still present, but the picture is steady and the eye relief is better. I thought it was due to the IR, but have not seen this problem with other brands with an IR. I still need to get it out to the range and try it out again. I don't think ...

Pleasantly Surprised

The high points of this scope to me are 1. The Mil-Dot reticle, very nice, and accurate once you find the correct magnification to use it at. The reticle is "glass etched", which means there are no wires to break. This in theory makes it acceptable for use on high recoiling rifles. I used this scope to complete a 10" box test at 100 yds, and it came around full box back to the original zero without any problems. It has an advertised 50 MOA windage adjustment, and 50 MOA elevation adjustment. The scope I received actually had 52 MOA windae, and 53 MOA elevation. With the 30mm tube I was hoping for 75+MOA of elevation, but 50 MOA is sufficient to zero out to 600-700 yds with a .308 Win. If you add a 20 MOA slanted base it will get you to 1000 yds. The click adjustments are 1/8 MOA adjustments. I prefer 1/4 MOA, but 1/8 isn't too bad if you count carefully. One full turn of the target turret is 7.5 MOA, which seems odd at first until you realize that two full turns is 15 MOA, ...

It does not have the low light vivibility I expected but generally it is a nice purchase. I like the quality of the lenses, the scope is apohromatic and it exceeds many of the high priced scopes.

Great Scope

A great scope for the money, has more standard features than most higher priced "Name Brands". Bottom line is with normal zero in adjustments, I hit what I aim at. What more can you ask for?
