This is a decent scope for the cost, I was looking for a scope to use so i figured Id try this one. I bought this about 5 years ago right when I first was getting into the gun thing. I was in expiereinced so I went home and mounted it on my 30.06. Big mistake... first shot and I was done at the range for the day. Lost all the crosshairs and a lense fell out. Brought it back to the store, got a replacement. Went home put in the closet and eventually got a .22LR to put it on.
I havent had any problems on the .22LR with zeroing or durability issues. It has been on for about 1200 rounds now and and is still on target.
That being said, it still is a low end scope, the 9x Magnification isnt near as crisp or as focused as my Leupold is, or even my Nikon Pro Staff for that matter.
The IR reticle is nice, however mine is too dark to use in low light conditions, therefore it is rendered almost useless.
Features on this are nice and on a highend would cost you this scope many times over. Personally, I would rather put that money towards a nice low cost Redfield or Burris scope. Not that expensive but great quality.
I have found scopes you get what you pay for. (LIFE ADVICE: this is true with underwear, tires, shoes, and brakes) Sometimes you get lucky and find a bargain, but not usually.
This is a great scope for an airsoft rifle or .22LR others have had success with some other rifle cartridges. I guess it could be some are good some are bad, but if I'm putting...
