Cons:  Plastic retention piece breaks very easily

Received my first one for Christmas. The retention plate broke in the first month. A ordered a second one and it came with the plate already broken in exactly the same spot. No heavy use - just a spotting scope used indoors.

Pros:  Similar in design and operation to much more expensive video tripods. Very suitable for use with binoculars.
Cons:  A little stiff until broken in.
