Substandard Product From a World Class Company

by Daniel Chio, from United States, TX Written on March 14, 2015
When I received my earmuffs I thought, "Cool, compact." The unit is collapsible and resembles a transformer when you expand them and are ready to use them. Unfortunately this feature is what also bends the metal frame on the head wrap in an awkward way. The earmuffs do not create a solid seal around my ears and you still have noise filtering in, unlike other earmuffs I have used. I am an avid Beretta user and was surprised by the substandard quality of this product....

Inadequate protection

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on March 28, 2013
The Beretta ED352-1 does indeed decrease the sound reaching your ears, but is inadequate for shooting or operation of lawn equipment. I use sound protection daily for operation of an espresso/capiccino machine and weekly for shooting or operation of lawn machinery. The Beartta ED352-1 (25 db of sound dampening) lets in way too much sound. I did side-by side comparison to two Pelcor models (30 db), which were significantly better at dampening the sound. The Beretta ear-cups also rotate and do not hold their position, making it cumbersome to re-align the cups and deploy. On the positive side, the thin ear cups may be nice for some users, but are not worth the negatives in my experience.
Pros: Low profile
Cons: Poor sound dampening, clumsy to deploy...
